About the Role

We are a growing mobile-device wholesaler and refurbisher processing thousands of smartphones and tablets each month. We are hiring an experienced Cell Phone/Tablet Repair Technician to join our high-volume device refurbishment operation.

This is a production-based repair position in a warehouse/refurbishment environment. Technicians work through a continuous flow of devices and are responsible for completing repairs according to established work instructions, quality standards, and production targets.

There are no retail sales, customer-service counter duties, or customer-facing responsibilities.

This role is best suited for someone with experience in high-volume device repair, refurbishment, depot repair, electronics production, or a similar metric-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair iPhones and iPads that fail functional or quality-control testing
  • Perform component-level repairs including screens, batteries, cameras, charging-port assemblies, speakers, buttons, flex cables, and other internal components
  • Complete full housing replacements and internal-component transfers
  • Troubleshoot hardware and functional issues efficiently and accurately
  • Follow standardized repair procedures and work instructions
  • Complete post-repair functional testing and verify devices meet quality standards
  • Inspect completed devices for cosmetic quality and workmanship
  • Accurately record repairs, parts used, and device information in production systems
  • Maintain an organized workstation and follow ESD and safety procedures
  • Work with Quality Control team to identify recurring repair, device, or batch issues
  • Maintain consistent workflow through assigned repair inventory
  • Meet established production KPIs for repair throughput, quality, and efficiency
  • Minimize rework, repeat failures, and repair-related device damage

What We're Looking For

  • At least one year of professional iPhone repair and tablet refurbishment experience
  • Ability to independently diagnose, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test iPhones and iPads
  • Hands-on experience replacing screens, batteries, cameras, charging-port assemblies, housings, and other internal components
  • Experience completing full housing replacements and internal-component transfers
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to perform clean, consistent repairs without damaging connectors, flex cables, screws, frames, or internal components
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to repair quality
  • Ability to follow standardized processes and work instructions
  • Ability to maintain consistent repair output throughout the workday
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment where individual productivity and quality are measured against established KPIs
  • Ability to balance repair speed with workmanship and first-pass quality

Preferred Experience

  • High-volume mobile-device refurbishment or depot repair
  • Electronics manufacturing, assembly, or production
  • Reverse logistics or IT asset disposition (ITAD)
  • Experience working in an environment with daily production targets or individual productivity metrics
  • Phonecheck or similar device-testing software
  • Apple, WISE, or similar industry certification
  • Microsoldering or board-level diagnostics is a plus, but not required

Pay, Benefits & Growth

  • $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated repair ability
  • Weekly pay
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule
  • Overtime opportunities based on production needs
  • Performance reviews every six months
  • Eligibility for performance-based bonuses based on repair quality, productivity, attendance, and company performance
  • Opportunities to advance into senior repair, quality control, training, or team-lead responsibilities as our refurbishment operation grows

If you are an experienced cell phone/tablet repair technician who works efficiently, produces consistent quality, and is comfortable being measured against production and quality KPIs , we encourage you to apply.
